The challenge this week was to stamp your own background. I created this card in honor of Memorial Day and all the heroes and loved ones who have worked so hard to give us the freedom and opportunities we enjoy.
Here are a couple photos of this card's creation:
First the random stamping in Outdoor denim and Indian corn blue ink
Then I used a technique called "ghosting" sponging white ink around an shape, to create a negative image.
Finally the card assembled.
